Stroke patient
The Stroke Center was established in April 2006, with 5 observation beds, 299 general ward beds, 45 intensive care unit beds, and 34 rehabilitation ward beds. A total of 15,697 hospitalized patients were served from January 2015 to June 2018. The center is committed to fulfilling its social responsibility in healthcare by enhancing medical services, improving survival rates of acute stroke patients, and advancing the quality of patient care.
With the slogan “Seize the Time, Save Lives – Quality Care for Stroke Patients,” the nursing team utilized proactive action and interdisciplinary teamwork to implement innovative approaches for rapid and effective monitoring and care, reducing complications and disability, while enhancing the physical and psychological resilience of patients and caregivers to support their return to the community. Achievements included 1 publication, 5 patents, and 18 innovations. The i-SMART framework represents: Innovation, Speed, Monitor, Action, Resilience, and Teamwork.
