Patient Profiles for Microvascular Reconstruction.
Our department provides advanced reconstructive surgery following the resection of head and neck tumors, breast cancer, sarcomas, and skull base tumors. We specialize in reconstruction for brachial plexus disorders, facial nerve paralysis, extremity trauma, and pharyngoesophageal strictures caused by burns. Additionally, we provide microsurgical reconstruction support to other medical specialties. Through professional rehabilitation and work hardening programs, we dedicate ourselves to helping patients return to the workplace and resume their normal lives.

"In 2025, the success rate for microsurgical reconstruction reached an exceptional 97%–98% (with a 97.47% success rate specifically for free flap transfers). These metrics demonstrate that the vast majority of patients successfully achieved anatomical and functional restoration following tumor resection or trauma, effectively alleviating psychological anxiety associated with potential surgical failure."
International Medical Training: A cumulative total of 2,787 international fellows and visiting scholars from 91 countries successfully trained between 1984 and 2025.
"We lead the world in every facet of microsurgery, ranking first globally in clinical caseload, residency training, fellowship education, and academic research publication."
