Description

LinKou Chang Gung Bone Bank, founded in 1984, is one of Taiwan's first bone banks and now the world's largest single-institution bone bank, with over 10,000 cumulative allograft cases. Operating on a non-profit basis with the mission to 'deliver love, bridge clinical and research excellence,' the team integrates 43 attending surgeons and specialized professionals. The bank developed the world's leading computerized bone bank management system, achieving zero disease transmission and zero temperature abnormalities (including through the 921 earthquake). Annual recruitment success rate >95%; allograft infection rate globally lowest (overall 1.2%, clean surgery <1%).
