Since the 1990s, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Kaohsiung has operated under the mission of 'Deeply Rooted in Taiwan, Extending Medical Aid Internationally,' delivering integrated domestic community healthcare and international medical assistance. Domestically, the hospital maintains long-term mobile medical services, chronic disease management, and preventive care in southern Taiwan's rural communities. Internationally, the hospital participates in medical diplomacy through volunteer clinics, surgical teaching, and healthcare personnel training in diplomatic and friendly nations, demonstrating Taiwan's humanitarian care and medical soft power.
