The Chang Gung Sleep Center is the first hospital that incorporated multi-disciplinary specialties to serve the patients with sleep complaints. The members of sleep center involve Pulmonologists, ENT and Plastic Surgeon, Orthodontics, Psychiatricians, and Neurologists working together for the patients with sleep problem. This multidisciplinary model later became the standard of practice in sleep medicine in Taiwan. All members in the sleep team, include physicians and technicians, were sent abroad to USA, UK, or Japan to learn the most updating knowledge of sleep medicine since 2000. A lot of techniques were also introduced by our members to Taiwan, such as multiple sleep latency test(MSLT) for the diagnosis of narcolepsy, oral appliance and maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, neurocognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia etc. With our hard working, Chang Gung sleep center now become the role model of sleep center in Asian countries. Fellows come from foreign countries to learn sleep medicine from us in the past few years. The team members of our center will work harder to provide most advanced technique for treatment, comprehensive research for sleep medicine and promote the Chang Gung Sleep Center become the leader of sleep center over the world.

National Training Hub for Technologists: Over 50% of all registered sleep technologists in Taiwan were trained at our center.
Exclusive Training Provider for Psychologists: 100% of Taiwan’s clinical sleep psychologists received their specialized training or co-training here.
Subspecialty Fellowship & Certification: Since 2006, our center has implemented a rigorous, multi-specialty sleep medicine fellowship program, including comprehensive examination and board certification for physicians across various departments.
