Buddhist Tzu Chi Medical Foundation, Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital Department of Urology, led by Director Hann-Chorng Kuo, has built "Spin Dry, Happy Voiding" services—world-leading clinical treatment and research on botulinum toxin in lower urinary tract dysfunction. Expertscape global ranking: Tzu Chi University Kuo, H.-C. (54 publications) is global #1, surpassing UBC, U Penn, Auckland, Alabama, Rostock, UC Irvine, Philadelphia, Vanderbilt, etc. Eight botulinum toxin injection sites: muscle for incontinence, urothelium for IC, male/female urethra for voiding difficulty, detrusor for neurogenic bladder, trigone for bladder sensitivity/overactivity, transurethral prostate for BPH obstruction.
