In-hospital patients and family members
Hospital staff
To achieve the integration of healthcare and environmental sustainability, our hospital launched the “From Ward to Server Room: Hospital-Wide Carbon Reduction Implementation Project” which integrates facility optimization, intelligence technologies, and healthcare innovation. We have introduced new Air Handling Units and an AI-powered air quality optimization system, combined with corridor-style architectural design, significantly decreases energy consumption. In terms of energy, the rooftop solar panels have been installed, and we participate in a virtual power plant program. To strengthen safety and resilience, the intelligence disaster prevention system has also been implemented. We promote electronic medical records and e-prescriptions through our hospital app to improve operational efficiency and reduce paper usage. The introduction of the “Dance with Diabetes” system has been implemented to enhance care quality while contributing to carbon efficiency. For medical waste, recycling and reuse initiatives are in place, also implement a dialysis wastewater recycling system to enhance water-saving efficiency. Additionally, we pioneered a railway ticketing service, improving healthcare access to care for patients in rural areas. From architectural design to patient journey, we have fully embraced a low-carbon and sustainable concept, demonstrating our commitment and capacity to advance toward net-zero emissions through specialty and technology.
