Patients requiring inpatient treatment for COVID-19 or emerging infectious diseases Elderly and critically ill patients with infectious diseases
Since the establishment of the dedicated isolation ward in 2020, our hospital has continuously provided inpatient care for patients with COVID-19 and other emerging infectious diseases. A direct admission (Green Pathway) combined with one-stop healthcare services was developed to streamline admission procedures, reduce staff exposure risks, and improve the efficiency of care delivery. The multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and respiratory therapists, collaborates to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care. To date, 475 confirmed cases have been managed, achieving a 100% recovery rate and a 0% healthcare worker infection rate. These outcomes demonstrate excellence in infection control and quality of care while embodying the spirit of “Love Unites, Isolation Melts Away.”
