Chiayi Branch, Taichung Veterans General Hospital provides patient-centered, comprehensive, personalized, and compassionate breast cancer care. The [Cancer Screening Center] reminds and tracks suspicious cases, [Breast Surgeons] provide treatment (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted/immunotherapy), [Oncology Case Managers] track treatments, and the [Cancer Resource Center] continues monitoring and post-op follow-up — forming a "1 Screen, 3 Follow-up" one-stop service. We are the only hospital in Chiayi City integrating screening, diagnosis, case management, and treatment quality tracking. After integrated intervention: 60-day re-examination rate improved from 45.83% (2021) to 88.57% (2024); 90-day treatment rate from 40% to 100% (2023-2024), leading Chiayi and surpassing medical centers in 2023. In Feb 2024, Dr. Yang Chieh-Ju published a breast cancer treatment paper in J Chin Med Assoc.
