Patients in the hospital, especially the elderly and those with multiple chronic diseases.
With the aging population and the rise of multiple chronic diseases, the role of pharmacists in clinical care has become increasingly vital. Traditional care relies on manual chart review and SOAP note documentation, which is time-consuming and leads to "time toxicity"—where professional value is lost to administrative burdens. This project implements the "MedAssist Hub" platform, integrating the international drug database Medi-Span with Generative AI (Gen AI) to intelligently transform clinical workflows. This innovative model automates drug information retrieval and interaction analysis, generating SOAP notes with a single click. This allows pharmacists to redirect their time and expertise back to patients, returning to the essence of healthcare. Through this model, SOAP documentation time is significantly reduced, service capacity has increased, and medication errors have effectively decreased, enhancing the quality and safety of medication use.
