Clinical teaching often faces the dual challenge of high learner stress and low engagement. Despite instructors’ efforts, sustaining motivation can be difficult, leading to weaker learning outcomes and reduced teaching enthusiasm. Since 2019, our institution has implemented the “Gamified Teaching – Faculty Empowerment Program,” driven by three pillars: faculty empowerment, replicable modular design, and a national interprofessional platform. The initiative is structured through the M.E.D.U.P. model: Make (learners become designers), Easy (low entry barrier), Diffuse (scalable dissemination), Uplift (revitalizing educators), and Present (showcasing outcomes via interprofessional competitions). This program establishes an accessible, high-efficiency, and scalable approach to medical education, strengthening engagement, knowledge retention, and educators’ sense of achievement.
