Feedback from students is as follows: It made me realize the importance of companionship in hospice care. On the winter solstice day, the nurses in the hospice ward cooked red bean porridge. They shared it with the patients and their families. The nurses, bringing warmth in the cold winter. I wrote cards to the bereaved families. I hope that through the cards, I can convey the warm power of caring words, so that they can get out of the haze of the death of their loved ones. I also deeply understand that healing others is also healing myself.

Safety Outcomes

We have some measures in place to protect the rights of patients and their families, as well as considering the safety and experience of the student volunteers. Before student volunteers serving in the palliative care ward, they need to complete educational training content: 1. Palliative care presentation, core values, attitudes, volunteer roles in ward care. 2. Palliative care ward environment tour.
