Senile cataract
Complicated cataract surgery with associated complication
Traumatic cataract
Cataract patient with underlying dry eye disease and corneal pathology
Our center has established a comprehensive cataract caring system, including preoperative assessment, surgical intervention, and structured postoperative follow-up for the aging society. Intraoperatively, we kept a standardized phacoemulsification protocol. According to individual clinical needs, precision-assisted technologies, including femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery, Zepto anterior capsulotomy, and intraoperative guidance systems, are utilized to safely manage high-risk and complex cataract cases, such as zonular weakness, IOL dislocation, and traumatic cataract. Postoperatively, structured follow-up protocols are implemented to ensure optimal visual recovery. Overall surgical outcomes are favorable with low complication rates. For patients with concomitant iris defects or ocular trauma, secondary procedures such as iris reconstruction or artificial iris implantation are scheduled during the recovery period to further enhance visual quality and functional outcomes. Furthermore, our center is actively engaged in cataract surgery education and academic research. We have long participated in national and international surgical training programs and wet-lab courses, and have published research findings in peer-reviewed international journals. Through ongoing cross-border clinical exchange and collaboration, we continue to advance cataract care toward international standards.
