Reception and Inspection: Receive dietary ingredients and non-dietary materials, and enter the PO# and quantity into the RFGen system for verification. Create quality control documents for each batch of materials, such as COA and labels. Send all items to QA for inspection; if qualified, release them, if not, mark them as rejected and place them in the rejection area. 2.Storage and Scheduling: QA assigns the inspected and qualified raw materials to the temporary storage area in the warehouse and establishes permanent records. Scheduling generates work orders based on customer needs and production time, and distributes them to the warehouse to pick the required materials. 3.Weighing and Mixing: The warehouse picks and weighs the dietary ingredients according to the work order and records them in the RFGen system. Place the weighed materials into buckets with specific labels and print the weighing records to attach to the batch records. Mix the ingredients according to the batch records, and compact the materials if necessary. 4.Laboratory and Quality Assurance Inspection: Send mixed samples to the laboratory for inspection to ensure they meet the standards. Conduct Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations for non-conforming products and generate reports to be submitted to QA for processing. The CRD laboratory issues a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for qualified products and submits it to QA for final release. 5.Packaging and Shipping: After receiving the qualified products, package them and verify the contents of the batch records. Quality Assurance confirms the contents and labels of the pallets and authorizes the shipment. The warehouse uses the RFGen system to manage the finished products until they are shipped. The manager generates a packing list and attaches it to the pallet, and handles the related shipping documents. 6.Document Management: QA generates the COA and verifies that the finished products meet the specifications, signs, and releases the products. The final release documents are sent to the shipping and accounting departments for confirmation.
