Big Data Center (BDC) at China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) manages the largest phenome-genome-environmental data platform in Asia, encompassing 20-year medical records and environmental exposure data from 3.3 million patients and genetic information from 400 thousand patients, which forms the solid foundation for generating clinical data with high resolution. At the end of 2020, BDC launched the iHi Data Platform (ignite hyper-intelligence), which provides users with interactive and diverse data service through a virtual desktop infrastructure and offers the only ISO and CNS double-certified de-identified data in Taiwan. BDC owns the world-class full-spectrum multi-omics and multidisciplinary data ecosystem, which, through the standardized data management pipeline, provides users with easy-to-use, high-quality and protected clinical data analytic platform. BDC will continue to implement the novel “double triangle” that consists of data-insight-practice and research-policy-business cycles to realize the next-generation revolution of translational medical research, artificial intelligence, clinical education and intelligent healthcare industry at the international level.
