Target Population

general public, medical personnel, and quarantined persons under the pandemic

Description

In 2021, the COVID-19 global pandemic continues to rage all over the world, and we start to cope with the community spread of COVID-19 in Taiwan. The physical and mental health of Taiwanese people is surely facing a huge challenge. As the clinical psychology department at Taoyuan Psychiatric Center (one of the most important psychiatric centers in Taiwan’s north area), it is our responsibility to look after the mental health of Taiwanese people without increasing any risk of infection.

We organize the specific model (D-E-C-O-V-I-D), including delivering love and care, applying E-services, comprehensive care, obtainable information, vivid care, individualized resources, and distance services in quarantine. Therefore, we focus on the needs of the general public, medical personnel, and quarantined persons under the pandemic, and deliver comprehensive mental care through online manners.

We increase the accessibility of mental health resources by developing more online, distance services. We provide comprehensive mental care to meet the needs of the general public, medical personnel, and quarantined persons. The telemental services we provide strengthen the resilience of Taiwanese people under the COVID-19 pandemic and facilitate our society to maintain or regain its proper function.
