GA.N.GEL is a phospholipid-based emulsifier designed not only for emulsification but also for enhanced skin benefits through its molecular structure. Derived from lecithin, an amphiphilic compound, it mimics the bilayer structure of biological cell membranes, improving biocompatibility, skin affinity, active ingredient penetration, and skin barrier reinforcement. Its hydrophilic and lipophilic properties allow GA.N.GEL to leave a unique silky-soft protective film on the skin, enhancing percutaneous absorption while reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) for long-lasting moisturization. Combined with carbomers, ionic copolymers, and acrylic-based high molecular weight polymers, GA.N.GEL offers improved emulsification range, pH tolerance, viscosity control, and formulation stability. It is compatible with various systems and functions as a primary emulsifier in both cold and hot processes without co-emulsifiers. Its PEG-free phospholipid system provides a soft, velvety skin feel while supporting eco-friendly and low-carbon formulation concepts, without the strong odor associated with soybean-derived ingredients. GA.N.GEL demonstrates excellent suspension, dispersion, and encapsulation capabilities. It helps maintain the stability of sunscreen SPF performance and has passed a three-month accelerated stability test at 50°C. Its multifunctionality, formulation versatility, and simple processing make GA.N.GEL a next-generation emulsifier for cosmetic applications.

GA.N.GEL Quality Control Workflow
Raw Material Traceability & Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
Dual Verification: Raw materials (Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Lecithin) require a supplier COA, cross-referenced with a dedicated COA from the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to ensure consistency in physical-chemical properties, purity, and microbial limits.
Visual Inspection: IQC intake sampling evaluates basic properties, particle distribution, odor, and color, utilizing "Powder Reference Standard Images" for visual validation.
Non-Conformance Segregation: Substandard materials trigger immediate quarantine and supplier notification to prevent accidental use.
In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)
Real-Time Monitoring: Key process nodes feature IPQC checkpoints to strictly monitor pH, viscosity, temperature, humidity, and microbial load.
Environmental & Lot Control: Semi-finished products are stored under controlled conditions (20–25°C, 60% RH) and tracked via unique batch numbers linked to the COA system for seamless traceability.
Final Quality Control & Traceability (FQC)
AQL Sampling: Final physical-chemical safety (pH, particle size, heavy metals) is verified through Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) sampling based on batch size.
Delivery & Archiving: Complete inspection records are preserved in the batch COA and delivered with the product, fulfilling our commitment to quality traceability.
GA.N.GEL Health and Safety Compliance
Authoritative International Testing
Heavy metal levels, including arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury, remain well below international safety standards.
Microbial Load Control: Tested by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to guarantee that microbial counts across all batches remain below the detection limit (ND).
Contaminant Screening: Partnered with SuperLab to perform comprehensive screening for banned residues, including pesticides and residual solvents.
Toxicology and Biosafety
CAIQ Verification: Successfully passed acute toxicity testing and skin safety assessments, securing professional certification reports from the Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine (CAIQ).
Toxicological Documentation: Comprehensive Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) are provided to streamline Product Information File (PIF) compilation and regulatory review.
Market Integration and Global Compliance
Halal Certification: Key raw materials are currently undergoing Halal certification to satisfy global Muslim market demands and enhance global market acceptance.
Multi-Regional Compliance: All evaluation protocols comply with the regulatory frameworks of the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW), the European Union (EC No. 1223/2009), and the US FDA.
GA.N.GEL Risk Management
Supplier Audit & Evaluation
Qualification: Manufacturers must pass internal assessments covering manufacturing capability, compliance, and documentation integrity.
System Standards: Contracts mandate adherence to ISO 9001/14001/45001, with a strong preference for Cosmetics GMP (ISO 22716).
Continuous Improvement (CAPA)
Dynamic Audits: We conduct annual onsite audits and "unannounced inspections" triggered by market feedback or customer complaints.
Corrective Actions: For any non-compliance, manufacturers must implement CAPA measures, tracked rigorously until full closure.
Logistics Protection Optimization
Moisture-Proof System: To prevent packaging structural failure, we utilize a multi-layer shield: "Aluminum moisture-barrier + Reinforced outer carton + Desiccants."
Data Integrity & Archiving
Retention: Quality and audit reports are archived for at least 5 years per regulations, ensuring full historical traceability for any regulatory inquiry.
Enhanced Skin Penetration With superior biocompatibility and skin affinity, GA.N.GEL acts as an active delivery platform. Clinical evaluations demonstrate that it increases the penetration of high-molecular-weight actives by 11% within 6 hours.
Superior Sunscreen Stabilization SGS testing confirms that formulations using GA.N.GEL consistently maintain SPF 50+ performance. Its exceptional suspension and encapsulation capabilities protect UV filters from degradation, even after a 3-month accelerated aging test at 50°C.
High Oil-Loading Capacity While traditional systems require emulsifier-to-oil ratios of 1:5 to 1:10, GA.N.GEL achieves a 1:50 ratio. This significantly reduces emulsifier usage while maintaining robust stability and formulation flexibility.
Process Stability & Sustainability The powder format offers superior storage stability compared to traditional liquid acrylic emulsifiers, minimizing sedimentation and phase separation issues. Furthermore, the anhydrous design reduces carbon emissions during transport, aligning with sustainable beauty trends. GA.N.GEL is an innovative, powder-based emulsification system engineered for high oil-loading capacity, exceptional stability, and enhanced active delivery. It offers a versatile solution for high-performance skincare, scalp care, and intimate hygiene formulations.
Core Technology
GA.N.GEL is an innovative emulsification platform combining powdered phospholipids (lecithin) with powdered acrylic polymers such as carbomers and ionic copolymers. Through crosslinked random/block copolymer technology, it delivers high emulsification efficiency with emulsifier-to-oil ratios of up to 1:50, outperforming conventional systems.
Key Advantages
Stability and Compatibility GA.N.GEL offers excellent viscosity control, broad emulsification flexibility, and strong pH tolerance (pH 3–10). Its powder form prevents phase separation and sedimentation commonly observed in liquid emulsifiers, ensuring long-term formulation stability and consistent quality.
Enhanced Penetration and Skin Protection Its phospholipid structure enhances active ingredient delivery, showing up to 11% improved penetration within 6 hours, even for high-molecular-weight actives. In alcohol-based formulations, it forms a protective film on the skin that helps reduce irritation and improve dryness control. (3)Eco-Friendly Processing The solid powder format enables accurate dosing, easier storage, and reduced transportation weight, supporting low-carbon and sustainable cosmetic development.
Applications
GA.N.GEL is suitable for skincare, hand care, and functional cosmetic products, with additional potential applications in pet skincare, such as paw and interdigital care.
