Description

Self-reliance, social integration, and elimination of discrimination. Our institution takes the human rights advocated by the CRPD as its core value and integrates strengths perspectives to develop the unique characteristics of R.I.G.H.T. (Recovery, Independence, Health, and Wellness). We provide independent living services in the community for those recovering from mental illness, establishing normalized, family-like, and localized living services to enhance their self-reliance, support peer support services, promote social participation in exercising civil rights, and leverage strengths to improve social adaptability.

Satisfaction

  • Average satisfaction rate of recovered patients with their living conditions exceeds 90%.

  • Family satisfaction: 96.5 points in 2021, 94.45 points in 2022, 96.15 points in 2023, 97.1 points in 2024, and 100 points in 2025.

  • Employer satisfaction: 92 points in 2021, 91 points in 2022, 95 points in 2023, 92.6 points in 2024, and 82 points in 2025.


International Achievements

  • Dr. Ke Youyu published "Mulitidiscipline evaluation and preparation for a female schizophrenic patient successfully referred to the group home – a case reporter" in a medical journal.

  • The Human Rights Convention Implementation Monitoring Alliance affirmed the hospital's efforts in the medical care and rehabilitation of psychiatric patients.


Benefits and Impacts

  • Average wage for recovered patients increased: NT$180 per hour, higher than the basic wage.

  • Average monthly wage per person: NT$14,717.8, higher than Taipei Veterans General Hospital Yuli Branch (NT$12,551.2), Ministry of Health and Welfare Chianan Psychiatric Center (NT$13,200), and Ministry of Health and Welfare Bali Psychiatric Center (NT$2,110).

  • 11 people were employed through competitive placement, the highest among public hospitals.

  • Minister Chen Shih-chung of the Ministry of Health and Welfare visited our community housing facility on April 24, 2021, and gave it high praise.

  • Selected for poster presentation at the 11th Ministry of Health and Welfare Symposium on Improving Holistic Healthcare and Integrative Services in 2022.

  • Received an honorable mention in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Creative Service Competition for Hospitals in 2022 for the "Action Plan to Increase the Number of Residents in Community Housing Facilities".
