Patients with incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) A comprehensive IAD prevention and care program was established for patients with incontinence-associated dermatitis, including risk assessment tools, skin protection strategies, multidisciplinary evaluation by nutritionists and pharmacists, physician-led comprehensive care, and rectal tube placement when indicated. The program also incorporates Shared Decision-Making (SDM), international wound and ostomy care concepts, and the development of multiple innovative care tools and workflows.
