Hsinchu Municipal MacKay Children's Hospital is the first children's hospital in Taiwan to be independently built with the city government under a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model, achieving Silver-level green building and smart building certifications. It is also the only children's hospital in Greater Hsinchu area. It provides high-quality and convenient medical care to the public through medical center-level medical equipment, medical research, and clinical education. It emphasizes localized healthcare, develops community services, and focuses on caring for vulnerable groups. Completed in 2020 and officially opened in 2022, the hospital adheres to its mission of providing various medical services, medical research, education, and missionary work, and has introduced all necessary medical services and facilities.
Our hospital continues to advance professional medical services by integrating comprehensive maternal and child healthcare. Hsinchu Mackay Children’s Hospital provides a seamless continuum of care from preconception, prenatal assessment, and childbirth to neonatal care. Specialized services include a Reproductive Medicine Center and a High-Risk Pregnancy Assessment Center, offering personalized prenatal and postnatal care, genetic testing, and amniocentesis.
